VMGMA members have a lot to look forward to in 2008

With the start of a new year, there is much to look forward to in our organization. The Virginia Medical Group Management Association is focused on continued membership growth in 2008. By holding our conferences across the state, we hope to reach a broad audience and encourage new members to attend.
Speaking of conferences, the April conference will feature a new, unique opportunity: ACMPE Knowledge Assessment testing. This test gives you an opportunity to assess your practice management knowledge through an interactive exam process. I hope many of you will take advantage of this opportunity!
Other VMGMA news
In January, several of the state officers attended a national MGMA leadership meeting in Denver, Colo. This meeting brought together state officers for an excellent sharing of ideas and information on how we can keep improving the services to our membership. We also discussed strategic planning. This is a timely topic because VMGMA is holding a board retreat in February to discuss and document our strategic plan. We look forward to sharing our results in the months to come!
