Denial-of-payment issue is a VMGMA priority
Buried within your Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements that you receive throughout the month are claims that are denied for payment with the dreaded description, “Denied — Waiting for information from patient.”
Under the leadership of Bert Wilson, the Virginia Medical Group Management Association and the Medical Society of Virginia are trying to do something about this policy. [Continued]
